Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Kosher Connect application and website (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Kosher Connect (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Waitlist & Account Registration

Joining our waitlist or creating an account provides access to the Service. Waitlist data (name, email, city, and stated interests) is collected to personalize your experience and improve the Service.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Kosher Connect offers a Free tier, a Founding Annual plan ($36/year, limited to the first 100 members), and a future Standard Annual plan ($59.99/year). All paid plans include a 30-day free trial with no credit card required. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Pricing is subject to change with reasonable notice. Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies.

6. Founding Member Offer

Kosher Connect offers a limited “Founding Member” membership to the first 100 paying users at an annual price of $36/year USD (“Founding Membership”). The Founding Membership grants the purchaser access to yearly-tier features for as long as the subscription remains active, subject to the following terms:

• Founding Annual access means access to yearly-tier features for as long as your annual subscription remains active and Kosher Connect continues to operate the Service. If Kosher Connect ceases operations, merges with another entity, or discontinues the Service, the Founding Membership ends. We will provide at least 90 days' written notice before any such discontinuation.
• Non-transferable. Founding Memberships are tied to the account that purchased them and cannot be transferred, resold, or assigned to another person or account.
• Founding Member number. Each Founding Member receives a permanent numbered badge (1 through 100). This number is assigned at the time of payment and does not change.
• Scope of access. Founding Members receive the same features available to yearly-plan subscribers, plus a visible Founding Member badge, a 20% discount on any future Family plan, and early access to new features when available. Feature availability may change over time as we develop the Service. We do not guarantee that any specific feature announced or previewed will ship on a particular timeline.
• Refund policy. You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. To request a refund, email hello@kosherconnect.app with your account email. Upon refund, your Founding Member status and seat number are released back to the available pool. After 14 days, the purchase is final.
• Seat limit. The Founding Membership is limited to 100 seats. Once all 100 seats are claimed, the offer is closed. We will not increase this cap beyond 100.

7. User Content & Conduct

You may submit reviews, event listings, and other content through the Service. You retain ownership of your content but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute it within the Service. You agree not to post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, hateful, or that violates any law or the rights of others.

8. Kosher Information Disclaimer

Kosher Connect aggregates information about kosher certifications, restaurants, and vendors from publicly available sources and user contributions. We do not independently verify kosher certification status. Always confirm current certification with the restaurant or a recognized kashrus authority before relying on any information from the Service.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Kosher Connect and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kosher Connect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
