Coming Soon to the
App Store
The whole directory is live on the web right now. The iPhone app is in TestFlight beta and goes to the App Store once the beta closes.

Kosher Connect on the web, from an iPhone. App Store screenshots go up when the listing does.
What's in the iPhone app
The app carries the same listings and the same certification detail as the web, arranged for a smaller screen.
Search from where you're standing
The app asks for your location once, then finds kosher spots around you instead of around a city you had to type in.
The agency, on the listing
Every certified spot names the agency behind it, the same detail the web listing carries. You do not have to read a logo in a window and guess.
Filters for how you keep kosher
Narrow to Cholov Yisroel, Pas Yisroel, Yoshon, or Bishul Yisroel wherever a listing reports it.
Shabbos and holiday calendar
Candle-lighting and Havdalah for your city this week, with the holidays coming after it.
Saved spots and RSVPs
Save a spot or RSVP to an event on your phone, and both are there when you open the web. Same account on either one.
Your business, from your phone
Owners who claim a listing can propose edits, send photos for review, and read their booking inbox in the app.
Live on the web today
Every listing the iPhone app serves is already live here on the web. These are the busiest hubs right now, and the same listings and certification details appear in the app.
Frequently asked questions
When does the Kosher Connect iPhone app launch?+
The app is in TestFlight beta. It reaches the App Store once the beta closes and Apple approves the listing, so there is no public date yet. This page changes the day it goes live.
Is the Kosher Connect app free?+
Yes. The web app is free with no signup wall, and the iPhone app will be a free download. A free account is all it takes to save spots and RSVP to events on either one. Membership is optional: it backs the free directory and adds a private journal only you can see.
Is there an Android version?+
Not yet. Android comes after the iPhone launch. The web app at kosherconnect.app works in any mobile browser today, including Chrome on Android.
What does the iPhone app do that the web does not?+
It searches from where you are standing instead of a city you have to type, and it keeps Shabbos and holiday times for your city one tap away. The listings and the certification detail behind them are the same on both.
Will my web account work in the iPhone app?+
Yes. Sign in with the same email and your saved spots, membership, and event RSVPs come with you.
How do I hear when the app is out?+
Check back here. This page is where the announcement goes.
A membership backs the free directory and unlocks what members get, starting with a private journal only you can see.
