  • ·Long layovers under 4 hours: stay airside. Layovers 5+ hours: AirTrain to Jamaica Station, then car service to Five Towns or Brooklyn for a real meal, back in 90 minutes.
  • ·Friday afternoon flights: leave the city by 1 PM in summer or earlier in winter to make a Friday-night arrival before Shabbat.
