Questions Vendors Ask

Claiming, your dashboard, booking requests, and what it costs.

How do I list my business on Kosher Connect?
Create a free account, then submit your business at /add-business. The listing is linked to your account the moment you submit it, so your owner dashboard works right away. Our team reviews every submission, usually within a few days, and the listing appears in search once it is approved. Listing is free.
My business is already on Kosher Connect. How do I take control of it?
Find your listing on the directory and use the Claim Listing button on its page. If your email address matches your business website domain, the claim approves immediately. Otherwise the team reviews it by hand.
What can I edit once I own the listing?
Phone, website, description, hours, and the browse-page tags that decide which category pages you appear on. Name, business type, location, and certification stay with the team, because those are what the community relies on being consistent across the directory.
How do booking requests work?
Families planning a simcha send a request from your listing page with their date, guest count, and details. It lands in your booking inbox and we email you. You reply with a quote and a deposit amount, or decline. When the family accepts a quote, we email you and the booking is confirmed between you and them. Taking requests is part of a Simcha Pro subscription.
What does Kosher Connect charge?
Your listing, your dashboard, and your analytics are free, and they stay free. Simcha Pro is a monthly subscription that lets families request a booking from your listing and gives you the inbox to answer them. Kosher Connect takes nothing out of the booking itself: no commission, no per-event fee, and the whole deposit is yours.
How do I get paid?
Today you arrange the deposit and payment with the family directly, the way you already do. Online deposits through Kosher Connect are being built and are optional when they arrive. Either way the full amount is yours.
Do you check whether my business is kosher?
Kosher Connect shows the certification an establishment reports, and the agency name alongside it. We report what certification says; we do not certify, and we do not vouch for kashrus. Anyone deciding where to eat or cater should confirm with the establishment and their own rav.
What happens on Shabbos?
Browsing stays live. Booking requests, quote acceptance, and checkout pause from candle lighting to nightfall in your city and return afterward.
Something is wrong with my listing. Who do I talk to?
Use the support form inside your owner dashboard, or email hello@kosherconnect.app. The team answers directly.

Still Have a Question?

Owners can reach the team from the support form in the dashboard. Everyone else can email hello@kosherconnect.app.
